Master Chef Simulator


The project titled “Master Chef Simulator: Sustainable Gastronomy Training Through VR,” conducted by Karabük University, has been awarded a grant of 250,000 euros under the Cooperation Partnerships in the Field of Vocational Education and Training (KA220-VET).  The project aims to offer an innovative approach to culinary education by combining sustainable gastronomy training with virtual reality (VR) technology.
 
The project, which will be carried out in collaboration with Karabük University's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Technology Transfer Office, and Department of Computer Engineering, includes local partners such as the Karabük National Education Directorate, Bolu Mengen Chefs Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and CODLAB AI Software Co. Ltd. from Karabük Teknokent. In addition, SIA “Hotel School” Viesnīcu biznesa koledža from Latvia, Italian Hospitality School SRL from Italy, Zespol Szkol nr 1 from Poland, and SMARTS Private Company from Greece will participate as international partners. From Karabük University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan Yurt, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kasım Özacar, Dr. Lecturer Mustafa Yılmaz, Dr. Lecturer Özkan Süzer, Dr. Lecturer Veysel Tokdemir, and Senior Engineer Yılmaz Olcay are participating in the project work.
